Faith Leader Diversity Training
An issue that we do not openly talk about in our religious communities are the members of our congregation who composed the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) community. Each house of worship may discuss it with varying degrees of openness. We could do more. The State of Maryland has selected the Baltimore Faith Based Commission for Behavioral Health (BFBC) to provide Faith Leader Diversity Training sessions to establish environments of recognition and respect among clergy, faith leaders and sexually diverse congregants and their communities. The training is targeted for faith leaders defined as: Pastors, Rabbis Ministers, Imams, Elders, Deacons, Trustees, etc. It is open to persons in leadership positions in their respective house of worship.
We seek to foster listening and dialogue. Listening,talking building dialogue not walls.

Can We Talk? - Section 1
Tuesday, July 21, 2020 - 10 am - 11:30 am Part 1
Tuesday, July 28, 2020 - 10 am -11:30 am Part 2
Can We Talk? - Section 2
Saturday, August 15, 2020 - 10:am-11:30 am Part 1
Saturday, August 22, 2020 - 10: am-11:30 am Part 2
Both sections (1 and 2) will cover the same material.
